I’m holding on tight, for what this winter will bring us. I'm thinking cold and brutal!
But whatever the case may be, here are a few of my tips for getting through winter, and beating the winter time blues.
This seems to be a real thing for folks.
Here are my 10 tips:
1. Spend time with friends plan something, game night, bowling, movie night or anything that will spark up laughter.
2. Staying active and busy. I think this has got to be one of the most important tips.
3. Taking a vitamin supplement. There are certain vitamins that our body needs to feel it's best, especially in the winter time, like vitamin D.
4. Learn something new, tackle a new project or a DIY.
5. Read. I am reading my entire Bible.
6. Learn a new language. There are so many apps out there that will allow you to learn a new language and for FREE.
7. Stay connected to people. Do not isolate yourself. I repeat, do not isolate yourself.
8. Help someone. Volunteer your time. Show hospitality to someone and practice giving.
9. Don't forget about self-care. Try out some new products: facials-hair care-make-up
10. Cook or bake something. Try new recipes. Then try them out on friends and family.
